Micro-livestock is the term used for much-smaller animals, usually mammals. The two predominant categories are rodents and lagomorphs (rabbits). Cows are one of the most common farm animals, valued for their milk, meat, and leather. Dairy cows are specifically bred for high milk production, while beef cows are raised for meat.
